Slab Sunday: Verde Peacock granite
Verde Peacock is quarried from a bedrock quarry in Brazil.
Verde Peacock is really dark green with brown/ gold specs.
The brown/ gold specs actually occur after the blocks are cut into slabs due to oxidation that starts taking place.
Other names for Verde Peacock include: Peacock Green, Verde Pavao and Verde Veneziano.
Verde Peacock is available in 2 cm and 3 cm slabs as well as tile.
