Slab Sunday: Spectrus granite

Spectrus is a beautiful, dramatic granite that is quarried from a bedrock quarry in Brazil.
The pattern in these slabs can change quite dramatically from bundle to bundle.  Excuse my sounding like a broken record, but be sure to pick out your exact slabs!

Below is a picture of the Spectrus we have in stock in our yard right now.

Check out this stunner of a bathroom.  Not only did they use Spectrus on the vanity, they also put the slab on the floor.  The website said the floor piece weighed 500 lbs.
People sometimes ask why it's so expensive to put a slab on the floor....well that's why!  It's not an easy task.

Spectrus granite is available in 2 cm and 3 cm slabs.
You'll generally see the slabs with a Polished Finish, but it's really beautiful with a Satin Finish as well.
