Farmhouse Kitchen with Pietra Cardosa countertops

I saw this beautiful kitchen on House Beautiful's website.

The perimeter countertops are Pietra Cardosa, which is a schist. 
Notice how they had it scored on either side of the sink to be a drain board. 
 
The island is Imperial Danby marble.
